...”the main difference between America and Europe” in the title, so I’m putting it here.
I should’ve add some pictures of Audi’s countless wins, but I’m a decent man.

Caddy won the Pirelli World Challenge like 3 years in a row with the CTS-V? R8s didn’t place.

I meant at Le Mans. Audi mostly cares about that.

Update the grille, wheels, and headlamps and the Cien looks like it could’ve just been built.

Nothing like comparing audi to a concept car, makes sense.

Isn't the PWC like the world series? As in just in North America?

The CTS-V was built to the old World Challenge GT spec while the R8 is built to GT3. This meant they never competed against each other.

The Cien kicked so much ass in TDU. It so should have been GM’s halo car, above the Corvette.

The Audis in the first two pictures are also concepts.
2003 Le Mans concept.

Europe is round and America is a polygonal Corvette?

The Cien was cool, but it was no ME Four-Twelve.

That game is just a concoction of awesome concept cars that never were.

Ever heard of the Corvette? Their LeMans wins would like to have a word with you. GM doesn’t care what badge they win with...

No. Cadillac and Audi were somewhat at the same point, a decade and a half ago. Audi went on with prestige generating activities, like redefining global endurance racing and building a supercar, Cadillac lost valuable time. It’s true that one of the artisans of Audi’s success, Johan de Nysschen, is now the leader of Cadillac, but that unfortunately, could be too little, too late.

They don’t do the rest of the WEC season. And in a few years, few people will remember who won at the GTE category.
And GM should care. If they ever hope that Cadillac achieves the profit margins of the Germans.

Yeah, what lightening zone said. Audi made their concepts a reality with tech handed down from race winning programs. Caddy never delivered. The fact that it’s hard to tell the difference between concept car and production car says a lot

VW was admittedly ballsier with their various frauds... I’ll give them that.

Some great Cadillac designs that became reality. 1999 Evoq (XLR) 2006 CTS Coupe Concept (CTS Coupe) and 2013 Elmira (...dare greatly.)
...and now this gem.

...just derivatives / variations of the same car.
